Cry Free wish all their fans, friends, business partners, and3 January 2010, 02:02
2009 was undoubtedly the year of Cry Free, during which a real miracle, totally unprecedented in the Hungarian rock history, took place and repeated itself six more times again. The seven (like in a fairytale) concerts world-wide together with one of the inventors of hard rock, and the most dedicated unifier of rock 'n roll and classical music, the keyboardist/composer legend Jon Lord (ex-Deep Purple, ex-Whitesnake), shot Cry Free right up to the top of the world's tribute scene. On the first days of the year 2010 the question is, can the new year raise the band any higher? The answer is yes. Currently there are negotiations about Hungarian and international performances together with three different Deep Purple members, and at the same time the band that has always been happy to also present his own act abroad is about to really launch his international career in 2010. Cry Free concerts are being organised in 5 countries of Europe at the moment. The band's exciting new project The Deep Purple History Tour with the help of Irish/Austrian tribute Purpendicular, which has recently completed its Hungarian leg, will now travel to Austria and Germany as well, all with the friendly support of Purple members Ian Gillan and Ian Paice. Cry Free will not leave their Hungarian fans without their live interpretations of Deep Purple, either. The band's first national appearance in the new year will be on 16 January at the nation's biggest tribute festival in Petofi Csarnok Budapest attracting about 1500-2000 people every year. Cry Free will take the main stage along with the cream of the Hungarian tribute scene.
