Vocalist Attila Scholtz was Deep Purple's V.I.P. guest 17 August 2009, 10:05
Vocalist Attila Scholtz was Deep Purple's V.I.P. guest at Happy Days classic rock festival in Wiesen, Austria. Legendary Purple singer Ian Gillan had sent a ticket and an all access pass to his Hungarian "colleague" so that he can experience the real Purple feeling behind the stage as well as ON the stage. During the little "beforeparty" prior to the concert Atka and a small group of Cry Free regulars had the opportunity to chat with their icons backstage, and then they were invited to see the show (incredible as usual) on stage, standing right next to the mixing board. You can check a little photo gallery of the unique experience
here. Many thanks to Marta Riman for her contribution, Andras Vigh for the logistics, and last but not least to Big Ian of course for his kindness and the fantastic night!
