To satisfy the growing needs of the fans, the band decided to double the number of their concerts in the capital city. They also continued the new line of concept shows, this time introducing their latest set containing exclusively mk3 and mk4 songs to commemorate the legendary 1974-76 period starring David Coverdale and Glenn Hughes.
December, 2006.
The very last Cry Free gig of the year 2006 was organist Gábor Soulavy's farewell show. On 27 December he played his last notes as the member of the band after having decided to get himself replaced by old friend Attila Nagy, who studies classical organ playing at Bartók Béla State Music School, to take his position behind the Hammond.
2007
The replacement caused no trouble to the band as two weeks later, after no more than a month of preparation, Attila debuted in Kapuvár at the pre-premiere concert of the Wigwam super show of 26 January presenting the complete 20-piece Fireball/Machine Head tribute programme featuring all the original tracks plus singles and album outtakes of the time

In February the Cry Free site underwent a complete updating process with all of its links (inc. photos) refreshed. At the same time the band announced an amateur photo contest to encourage their fans to take as many pics of the new line-up in concert as possible. The best shots were later uploaded to the site with the name of the photographer publicised.
In April the band was asked to perform at Live Aid 2007, a charity event in the biggest sports hall of the country, Budapest Sportaréna, aiming to help the poorer regions of Africa.
May 2007 saw guitarist János Kállai's other band, K3, which performs his own intrumental hard rock compositions, honoured by the sensational fact that Dream Theater keybardist Jordan Rudess agreed to be featured on the band's new album, Under A Spell. Rudess, considered to be one the most virtuoso keyboard players of contemporary rock music, sent two alternative solos for the same track via internet so that Jani and his colleagues could even have a choice!
The very first tribute band talent contest of the country took place on 2 June. The event was organised by the Foundation For Hungarian Rock Musicians, whose founding members include Cry Free manager Beáta Nagy and singer Attila Scholtz. It was out of question therefore that the band were to be featured in the gala concert after the competition alongside the other Hungarian tribute veteran Kiss Forever Band.
In October the Cry Free management got down to some serious work filling up the calendar for the autumn and winter. The band debuted at a great deal of new venues including Békés county's most prominent event, Csabai Kolbászfesztivál, attracting about 10,000 people. They also performed at the biggest ever tribute festival of Hungary, which took place on 31 October in the country's biggest concert hall, Petőfi Csarnok, featuring all the pioneers of the tribute scene along with a lot of upcoming new cover acts, altogether about 25 bands on 3 stages.
