The increasingly popular Cry Free club has moved from Kupola14 April 2004
The increasingly popular Cry Free club has moved from Kupola Zeneház to Rózsahegyi Kávézó at 16 Hídfő u. Budapest 1033. The change of locations is due to management decision, and it means that all the acts formerly in connection with Kupola Zeneház will be performing at the new location, and the same staff will be in charge. The cafe which is situated at the Buda side of Árpád bridge can be approached by bus (86), by tram (1), and by suburban train (Szentendre). Apart from the location, nothing has changed. The club still takes place on the 3rd Thursday of each month. We kindly invite everybody to the gig of 22 April, which will feature Led Zeppelin tribute Session from Veszprém as support band (starting 7.30 pm). Cry Free will perform an exclusive, classic set of 1970-73 Deep Purple songs. We are planning a special surprise for our 20 May show as well, and this concert will feature a support band, too. Cry Free's old friend Csaba Tóth, and his group Chubby Blues will warm up for the Purple tribute. Their set includes songs by the greatest southern blues acts Lynyrd Skynyrd (recently on tour with Deep Purple), and Zakk Wylde along with their own material of the same genre.
