The German tour took place between 3 November and 9 November, 2002. The group hit the clubs and rock bars of the southern region with the legendary songs. Instead of the five venues originally planned, the band only played four of them (see Gigography). At the fifth one, Mannheim-Plankstadt's "Roadies", the show had to be cancelled on the spot due to the organiser's indifference and negative attitude. (If you are a German band, or a band visiting Germany, avoid the Roadies!) Sorry to any German fan who did come. And a big thank you to all the other clubs for the rock 'n roll madness that came about! A sign of positive reception can be that Deep Purple Cover Band received repeated invitations from all the four places, and invitations from organisers of further clubs and festivals who were present at the gigs. The second German tour in which all these venues will be played is planned to take place at the end of April or beginning of May.
