Guitarist Dénes Nagy to leave the band1 September 2015, 16:30

Cry Free - Deep Purple's Favourite Tribute
After two and a half years of successful cooperation, guitarist Dénes Nagy is leaving Cry Free. The outstanding talents of the young musician have been discovered by legendary Hungarian blues-rock singer Gyula "Bill" Deák, who invited Dénes to join his band. The rest of Cry Free are proud to see their "colleague" and friend alongside the number one blues artist in Hungary and wish him the very best in his future career.

Because of the mutual love and respect between Dénes and the band, the initial idea was to try and go on along the two lines simultaneously, but with "Captain Bill" being one of the most sought-after Hungarian blues performers, it soon proved impossible to avoid double-booking, and both parties had to realise that sadly a permanent parting was due.

The new Cry Free line-up will debut on September 19 at Muzikum Club in Budapest.
