Purple Zeppelin Jam on Sziget Festival3 August 2013, 01:24

One of Europe's biggest festivals Sziget, which takes place every August on an island of the river Danube in Budapest, sees double classic rock act Purple Zeppelin Jam on its bill this year. Both Cry Free and partner band Led Zeppelin tribute "Zep Session" (also feat. Tamas Tatai on drums and Attila Scholtz on vocals) have played this giant of an event before, but this is the first time they rock the island united. (Our picture was taken at Cry Free's 2008 Sziget show.) The "Ultimate Classic Rock Experience" is scheduled to take place on the Tribute Stage from 11 pm on Tuesday, after performances of American pop-rock-folk-world act Firewater and leading Hungarian alternative favourites Quimby on the main stage. The "Purple Airship" will take its passengers on a three-and-a-half-hour flight in time way back to the 1970s with a rockin' and rollin' selection of the greatest hits by two of the most influential rock bands ever, Deep Purple and Led Zeppelin. If you happen to be in town, don't miss this journey through time.
