It's been four days since the unthinkable happened to the shock of all of us Jon Lord fans... Our beloved friend and hero, who we all thought stronger than anything, even the deadly disease, did finally lose the long battle he had fought so bravely and so powerfully. Words can't describe the sadness we feel...

It's also quite incredible how many phone calls, mails, texts, and other types of messages we have received since our dear Jon passed away. The phone keeps ringing with fans, friends, journalists, promoters and other participants of the music industry, and it's really touching for us to feel how much we are associated with the great Maestro, who we had the fortune to work with on so many occasions. What great times of musicianship, friendship, and tremendous fun with this amazing giant of a musician and finest of gentlemen! The three years from March 2009 to his untimely death this sad Monday is undoubtedly the peak of our career as a band, and in some ways the peak of our lives as individuals too. We are truly honoured to have been Jon Lord's bandmates and friends.

That is why the concert we are about to play (our only show in Budapest this summer), and which was booked months ago planned with another programme, will automatically turn into a spontaneous Jon Lord Memorial Concert to celebrate the fantastic musical legacy he left behind and to give us a chance to say farewell to a great friend in our own way.
