Cry Free - Deep Purple's Favourite Tribute
First of all, let us apologise for leaving you without any Cry Free news for long months, and perhaps it's no consolation for you that the news pages of the Hungarian site kept on buzzing the whole time with new posts every week. Before you get down to some serious Hungarian language learning, we promise you to become more up-to-date in the English news columns as well. :-)

We do hope, however, that you have found our regular updates in the Photos and Download sections, and enjoyed the series of special videos from "The Russian Tour Diary feat. Jon Lord" to "California Jam 2011" to "The 15th Anniversary Show". The video of another unique performance is on the way as the film footage of the really outstanding "Purple Zeppelin Jam" project presented just two weeks ago is currently being edited.

Bits and pieces of this new project are likely to make their way into the "regular" Cry Free set too, so the German towns of Lauffen-am-Neckar and Nürnberg-Katzwang will be the first two places abroad to enjoy an appetizer of "the complete classic rock experience" next weekend. The band are really excited to play Klostergartenlaube on Friday 18 November 2011, as besides not having performed there for 3 years the gig will be the festive 400th Cry Free show as well. But they also look forward to playing The Highlander on Saturday 19 November, since they had a real fun debut at the great-looking and really authentic Scottish Pub last December. All classic rock fans from the area are very welcome. See you soon!
