Yet another sensational classic rock-Cry Free collaboration! After ten shows with the "Lord of the Hammond" Jon Lord in his sympho rock act around the world, Cry Free are now teaming up with hard rock's other truly iconic Hammond player and composer, Ken Hensley. The event that sees the Hungarian Deep Purple Cover Band join forces with former keyboardist of classic rock band Uriah Heep is a double concert in the Hungarian cities of Pécs and Paks. The latter of the two hosted the annual Gastroblues Festival last summer featuring both Hensley and Cry Free along with a line of prominent rock and blues artists, both Hungarian and international, including Jethro Tull. All the shows were recorded on film for a DVD to commemorate one of the strongest ever lineups of the festival that looks back on an 18-year history. Now on 3 and 4 December 2010 fans can enjoy the live premiere of the DVD which they will get as a present to go with their tickets. The performers will include the best of the summer festival with Cry Free and Ken Hensley headlining the event. In July they presented their shows after one another and Hensley was accompanied by his regular backing band Live Fire. This time, after Cry Free's one-hour Purple tribute show and a short solo performance by Ken Hensley, the Hungarian musicians and the English rock legend unite to hit the crowd with a powerful set of Uriah Heep classics.
